Via Cupertino, which relaunched in October 2021, is an on-demand community shuttle that goes everywhere in Cupertino. It works like a minibus that comes when you want it and where you want it. It also connects to some destinations just outside of Cupertino, like the Sunnyvale Caltrain station, Kaiser Santa Clara, and Rancho San Antonio. Check out the service map below.
You can easily recognize these vehicles featured with Via and Cupertino customized logos. All vehicles are professionally cleaned regularly. Face coverings are required on board for all riders and drivers.
Rides can be conveniently booked using a free “Via” App (downloadable on App Store or Google Play), or by calling 661-201-1892. The service runs six days a week, and rides cost only $4 (discounted fares are available) with multiple payment options. To get started, you can download the app by scanning the QR code with your mobile device.
1. Create an account.
Download the Via App from the App Store or Google Play store and follow the simple signup steps.
2. Book a ride.
Enter your pickup and dropoff addresses and choose the ride option that works best for you.
3. Meet your driver.
We’ll assign you a “virtual bus stop” — somewhere for you to meet your driver that’s usually a nearby corner. The App will show you where to go.
The Via Cupertino service is open to all, offering wheelchair accessibility, curb to curb rides, and even bicycle racks. For more details, visit the city’s website.
