Are you a high school student in Cupertino with a passion for making your community better? Do you want to see safer streets, more bike-friendly routes, and a healthier, more active Cupertino?
Then Walk Bike Cupertino wants YOU!

Join Our Advisory Board!

We’re looking for enthusiastic and driven high school students to join our WBC Advisory Board. This is your chance to make a real impact on walking and cycling in our city.

Walk Bike Cupertino has been instrumental in shaping our community for the better, helping to create awesome improvements like the Regnart Creek Trail, protected bike lanes on McClellan Road, and a Bike Ped Plan for the city. Now, we want your fresh ideas and energy to help us continue this important work!

What Will You Do?

This isn’t your average board position – you can make a real difference for your community! Here are just a few ways:

  • Be a community advocate: Help us rally support for exciting projects like trails and protected bike lanes by speaking at meetings, City Council and more.
  • Boost our outreach: Get creative by making content for our social media, website, and newsletter to spread the word about safe walking and biking.
  • Hands-on events: Volunteer at our Bike Fest booth at local events, help with helmet fittings, and give away bike helmets to kids in need.
  • Launch your own project: Got a brilliant idea to promote walking and biking in Cupertino? We’ll help you make it happen!

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience, develop leadership skills, and contribute to a cause you care about. Your term on the board lasts until you head off to college or your schedule changes, so you can truly dig in and make a difference.

Ready to Roll?

We have three open positions this year, and we’re looking for students from local high schools. Don’t miss out on this chance to be a changemaker in your community!
