A few weeks ago, I ran into a cycling friend who had his arm in a sling. When I inquired about his injury, he said he was cycling in Los Altos and went down when he hit an invisible depression in the pavement. He reported it to the city using an app called SeeClickFix.  He found out the problem was fixed the next day, much faster than his injury.

Later, I had the opportunity to recount this story to Roger Lee, Cupertino’s Director of Public Works. Roger informed me that road repairs can be reported on an app called Cupertino311.

Since then, I have added both apps on my phone so it is easy to report issues on the road. Hope you will do the same to make cycling safer for everyone.
