Pedal for the Planet Family Bike Ride

April 30th , 2016: ‘Pedal for the Planet Family Bike Ride’ at Earth Day!This year the City of Cupertino will host its first ever Pedal for the Planet Ride sponsored by the City of Cupertino and the Safe Routes 2 Ride School Program! On April 30th, 2016 in conjunction with our Earth Day Festival, this aptly named ‘Pedal for the Planet Ride’ will feature a smooth 6-mile bike ride around Cupertino schools and parks for kids ages 8+ and their families. The bike ride will be chaperoned by experienced Cupertino cyclists, and will start and end at City Hall so participants can join Earth Day activities directly following the ride. Kids in bike trailers are encouraged! The event will also include free bicycle maintenance checks and minor tune-ups from two local Cupertino Bike shops starting before the ride at 9:30 AM so please arrive early to make sure your bike is good to go!
