Come to the Regnart Creek Walkshop on March 30
On Saturday, March 30 from 10am-noon, the gates will be open and all residents and their friends will be able to walk the site of the proposed future trail. It’s important that you attend, as City Staff will note how many residents make supportive comments about the trail and you will have a chance to ask questions at that time. There’s no RSVP, but we’d love to know if you are coming.
Sign the petition to support the trail
Even if you cannot attend the Walkshop or other meetings, a great way to show your support is to sign the petition. It’s an easy online form, and only takes only one minute (encourage your friends and family to do so as well!). As this petition is only to encourage the City Council to say yes, you do not have to be a registered voter or citizen, just a local resident. Click the button below to help.
Send an email of support to the City Council
Your vocal support to the City Council is one of the most important ways you can show that you want it to be built. The City Council will make the decision (it will not come to a resident vote), so letting them know that residents want trails, and this trail in particular, is necessary.
Come speak at City Council in support
Emails help, but speaking in person helps even more. Residents that come forward at City Council meetings really make an impact. Please click the button below if you can help with this important advocacy effort. City Council meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays each month.
