Cupertino Bike Fest

FreeJoin WBC and the City of Cupertino for a FREE fun-filled and bike-centric day! Fall Bike Fest is Saturday, September 24 from 9am to 1pm.
Note: to participate in the bike rodeo or a City-led bike ride you will need to sign a waiver (to the right) AND check in at the registration table the day of the event.

FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS:
- Bike Rodeo – Kiddos can practice bike handling skills in Safe Moves‘ mini city
- City-Led Bike Ride(s):
- Long Ride: Join Cupertino’s Transportation Team for an infrastructure ride. This group will stop at various spots along the route to learn about the City’s past, present, and future bike-related infrastructure projects. We will cap the ride at 25 riders. Advance registration required
Note: The Long Ride is for experienced, confident riders. It includes a challenging hill and busy roads.
- Short Ride: Ride through the park, stop for a scavenger hunt, and earn a chance to win cool raffle prizes! All are welcome on this short, family-friendly ride.
- Long Ride: Join Cupertino’s Transportation Team for an infrastructure ride. This group will stop at various spots along the route to learn about the City’s past, present, and future bike-related infrastructure projects. We will cap the ride at 25 riders. Advance registration required
- Helmet Checks – Most people wear their helmet incorrectly. Walk Bike Cupertino will make sure yours is proper!
- Bike Safety Checks – Community Cycles of California will conduct an ABC quick check on your bike. If your bike needs more attention, please take it to a bike shop for a tune-up before the Bike Fest.
- Pump Your Tires – The Youth Environmental Power Initiative (YEPI) will be on hand to teach you how to pump your bike tires. Give it a try before taking your bike to the Safety Check station!
- Contests– win prizes for participating in the following contests!
- Youngest Rider
- Oldest Rider
- Biggest Group – if you bring the most riders to the Bike Fest, everyone in your group will win a prize!
- Most Visible Theme – if your group dresses up in the most visible theme (interpret as you will), everyone in your group who dresses the part wins a prize. PG – rated themes only, please! This is a family event.
- Carry the Most by Bike (shopping bags provided at the festival) – can you beat the 12-bag record from 2019?

Get ready to start the fall with some fun on your bike!
Bring your helmet and bike to join the rides. All rides are chaperoned. Children under 18 must get parent approval to join the ride.
