Race Registration now open!

Our 27th Trailblazer Race window is open from September 11 – 26th

Dear Larry,

As a supporter you are probably aware of our biggest annual community event and fundraiser, theTrailblazer Race.

You might have wondered what our plans are for this fall if you’d not spotted any online announcements yet. Given uncertainty around the ongoing pandemic earlier in the year and our concern for everyone’s safety and well-being, we have decided to host a virtual race once again so that we can continue this tradition.

We look forward to seeing everyone’s times and hope you will enjoy the event!

Register Now!

How does the virtual race work?

Take on any of the traditional events as many times as you wish: 5K or 10K run, or 3-mile walk.

One single registration fee per participant, however many events you choose to do!

Run or walk anywhere, even on the treadmill – download a course map from our website for a suggested local route.

Choose any time(s) between September 11-26.

Runners have the option to upload their times or submit digital proof by email (the 3-mile walk is not timed).

How do I sign-up?

Follow this link to register: trailblazer.itsyourrace.com/event.aspx?id=6293

Why take part?

Joining this fundraiser can help you support your physical and mental wellbeing while you in turn make a difference for your community; proceeds allow us to continue advocating for a continuous Trail from the mountains to the bay!

Everyone who participates gets a famous Trailblazer Race T-shirt as well as Hobee’s California Restaurants coupons in the mail after the event!

We encourage everyone to participate regardless of age or fitness level; sharing results is completely optional.

How can I help?

We appreciate all efforts to spread the word! Here are some ideas:

  • Ask friends and family to join in
  • Join and share our Facebook event
  • Follow us on Twitter and/or Instagram
  • Make a Donation instead!
  • Download a poster for the event to print and display:

Do we still get race T-shirts?

Yes – we are sending Hanes Extra Beefy T’s to all who take part; soft 100% cotton with minimal to no shrinkage. Previous participants are familiar with their quality!

This year’s shirt will feature the raccoon, a cheeky “masked” animal we all know (and some of us love!)

T-shirts are mailed to all paid participants after the event.

More about the cause

All proceeds from this event go to the Friends of Stevens Creek Trail (FoSCT), a publicly supported nonprofit 501(c)(3).

FoSCT fosters local efforts in Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Cupertino, Los Altos and across Santa Clara County to create and maintain multi-use trails along Stevens Creek and Permanente Creek, as well as to preserve and protect their wildlife corridors.

Thanks to grassroots community action and generous donor support, more than six miles of the paved Stevens Creek Trail exist today and more are planned.

Wishing you all a happy and safe Summer.
Enjoy the Stevens and Permanente Creek Trails in good health,
and good luck for your race!
